We have adopted a range of other measures to maximize sensitivity, reliability, accuracy, precision, and ensure that all commercialized GMOs will be detected. These methods:
- Employ statistically valid sample sizes
- Use the highly effective Fast IDSM DNA extraction system
- Are run in duplicate from beginning to end
- Are optimized to detect as little as one molecule of genetically modified DNA

- Use the Varietal IDSM system to identify specific transgenic crop varieties, even those not approved in Europe and Asia
- Use real-time PCR to quantify GMO content over a wide concentration range
- Employ both internal and external standards for accurate quantitative analysis
